I just posted but it looks like you guys know what you're doing!

2 8 wk old blue cochins

10-12 wk old black australorp

8 wk old partridge cochin

I believe all are male except for the Partridge, I can't see her face. Only one I'm doubting a little is the blue Cochin on the right. He doesn't have so much comb, but still quite red at a young age especially for a slow maturing breed like the Cochin.

Sorry. I should have included that. It's supposed to be an americauna cross. It's been my biggest out of 8 chickens but three of the other already have a large, very pink comb. So I wasn't sure on this one. Thanks for your help! Here's a couple more pictures.

A little young to be sure, but I'm thinking pullet for now. Please post pictures in a few more weeks to confirm.

Again I know it's a bad photo but I have a question about comb and wattle development in Japanese bantams. Initially I thought I had it all figured out I had little red combs on 2 & 3 week olds. Now the black one in the photo above has no comb or Wattle development is crowing. Will be 8 weeks tomorrow. Can a pullet crow? I've been looking for information about maybe since I already have 5 larger more developed boys that perhaps other males will develope much slower. I thought I read it happens in reptiles... So any information

Late bloomer cockerel. That happens much more often than a hen lacking a rooster starts crowing. I've never heard of a pullet crowing.

Technically yes, a pullet can crow. You've got a cockerel almost 100%. :/ Just a late bloomer. Post pics in a few weeks to confirm if you're still uncertain.

Thank you for the information guys. My rooster population is growing. I do have a pen for excess boys.
I've heard they'll live together okay without hens.

Too young. Please post pictures when they are at least 6-8 weeks old.
