Hmm, this is a hard one. Eight weeks, right? I'm going with pullets.

Top chick could be a late bloomer cockerel. I'm not 100%. Hopefully you'll get a second opinion soon.

Ok, I have another one for you. My barred rock, 10 weeks old. I posted a picture of the tail feathers because they seem rooster like.
Do barred rocks tend to have redder combs? Online pictures indicate yes, no matter pullet or cockerel.

Pretty sure that's a girl. One thing about barred rocks is the boys tend to be whiter with straighter stripes. She seems pretty dark with random white lines.

Hello chicken peeps!
We got two bantam Cochins Saturday from TSC. We're thinking partridge in color. My question is, one's feathers are coming in very definitely two colors, the black and wide bronze lacing. The other's lacing is much narrower. Does this mean one is a pullet and the other cockerel? They're still very young obviously.
