Not Sure If You've Got A Pullet Or Cockerel? Click Here! Thread 2

Wow, what a helpful thread. Here are our 7 week olds. We have 8 of them - numbers 1 and 4 are crowing, so we're pretty sure about them. :) This is a "Heinz 57" flock hatched from my neighbors' chickens and they have Black Copper Marans, Welsummers, Araucanas, and Ameraucanas and mixes who lay beautiful eggs - chocolate brown, blue, green, with an occasional olive egger in there. So, experts - what's your best thinking on roos and pullets at this point? Thank you!
1, 3, 4, 5 are all definitely male. 2, 6, 7 and 8 might be female, but 6 and 7 are suspicious. Might want to post pictures again in a few weeks to confirm. :)

I've posted on a OEG thread but no responses yet. I ordered gold duckwing chicks and I also got this one. Is it a OEG gold duckwing or another colour variation of a OEG. He / she is just so different in color from the rest. I thought the experts here might know

Here it is. Beautiful Chick.

I hope you all can tell me! I can't wait to see it in adult feathers!

Thanks! That's what we are kind of thinking too. I still want to hold out a tiny bit of hope for #5 because while it has a comb, it's not dark like the other two and it doesn't have the wattle coming in under its chin. You might not be able to tell from the pics, but 6, 7, and 8 have blue-ish legs.

I finally managed to lure Lily into allowing me to get a good photo (used mash so please ignore the mucky beak). Lily is a little over 6 weeks old and was sold to me as an Araucana but earlier in this thread I was told Lily is actually an EE.

Can anyone tell the gender? Across the nose is quite red (as can be seen in the 2nd photograph) and is flat but rough looking (textured).

Thanks so much for having a look :)

That's an Easter Egger cockerel.
