Not Sure If You've Got A Pullet Or Cockerel? Click Here! Thread 2

Some are boys for sure, a couple may be pullets- I didn't see their age or how many- is that one bird per pic or multiple pics of one bird.

The Buff is pictured several times and they are all roughly 8-9 weeks old. I tried to post them from different angles to aid in determining their sex. I really hoped the White Leghorn was a pullet because it is my sons favorite. We might have to replace it if it's a cockerel. Gonna get my replacements from a more reputable source. From what I've been reading cackle hatchery and Murray McMurray are the two top options for me. My local feed store seems pretty legitimate though so I might look into that as a viable option. I REALLY want to get some polish pullets though and I think getting them online is my only avenue at this point for that. Any other suggestions for beautiful and prolific egg laying hens?

Suppose to be black australorp but one has yellow feet. Can you tell the sex?

Help!!! I ended up with what i think is a Pheonix instead of a sussex, and with other chicks ive been able to compare to same breeds, or look online at chicks to get a decent guesstimate on roo or pullet... but my pheonix has me stumped! I absolutely love this chick, and am really hoping pullet so bad ive spent hours online trying to find some kind of comparison, and have found nothing! She/he is only 3 1/2 weeks old, so i understand if its too early, but guesses are always welcome!

Not a Phoenix with those yellow legs. Looks like either a Welsummer or a Brown Leghorn. And the rosey feathers coming in on the chest mean it's a pullet.

Are you absolutely sure about the age on those Barnevelders? They still have down on their heads, they look more like they are 6 to 8 weeks. The second Barnevelder has too much black in the chest for a pullet. The Brahmas and the first Barnevelder are definitely pullets.

Is it pretty clear that one of my Barnevelders is a he? We had planned to keep a total of 4 (including the 2 hens I already had) but 5 will work, too. I'd like to get him out of the mix sooner rather than later. Re-posting the pictures.
