More focused picture..... it rained alot here today so the chicks played in the mud after worms after the rain stopped. Dirty birds...lol
 
My first clutch of chicks, this one is a 6 week old EE named Jaws. We suspect a possible roo, so I've done a ton of reading. Definitely a pink comb but I've read/heard that's not a good indicator with pea combs. Jaws is at the top of the pecking order. Feathered out early, had pin feathers by 1 week. I don't see any other coloring yet. What do you think?

Im going to try again becouse I dont want it to be true...4 week old blue laced red wyandotte.

Pretty sure I know but...im sooo attached and cant have a cockerel where I live.

7 weeks, buff orphington. Almost certain cockerel!

I am not if I have a roo or hen... it's lighter than my other BRs and has that bright red comb.

sorry, Cockerel... comb is way too red for only being 4 weeks...
