Probably a cockerel. Ameraucana can be very slow to mature.

Hi there, I was hoping for some help. I have "Cole" which we think is a girl but started making weird sounds this morning. She was hatched the first part of May. As I was looking to see when roos started to crow, I found that hens do something similar. Is that true? Can you tell from my photo if I have a roo? I'm really hoping not because we are in a city with restrictions. Any help appreciated. Thanks

Looks like one of my little girls might be a little guy. I don't see any red in the comb (which is nearly non-existent) or wattle, but these look like the start of saddle feathers:

Can I get a confirmation on this, please?
