Hi guys! I'd love some feedback on this hatchery dominique. 3 months old, and has me scratching my head because it looks more rooish than the definite pullets, but much less so than our cockerel (who we had to give away).











Our cockerel for comparison:

Any other opinions on this one?

I am going to say rooster.
The reason I am saying this is he looks to have a long legs
And I think I can see some small Spurs
Which could mean it's a rooster.
The reason the RIR is easy to tell if it's a rooster is because
He has a single comb where as the other one has a rose comb
I'm not 100% sure if it's a rooster though
Hopefully someone else can help too.

Here we go! 39.5 week old Mottled Java, the roosters pay no attention to, never have spotted "her" in the coop during the day, only on a perch after dark, shy, super easy keeper... But male or female?

My guess(it's my first batch so I'm studying lol) and honestly most of my guessing is based on comb color/size. I've got 16 in this batch and almost all of them have waddles that have quite a bit of color. So I'm looking at combs mostly to decide. I'll post my blacks in a bit too.

100% female. Looks like she's just few more weeks from laying. Javas are slow to mature.
