Can you please help me figure out my Plymouth rocks/barred rocks also I have no clue what breed/gender the yellow/white one is as I got it from my church with no info. Thanks! #1 #2 #3 #4 #5 #6 #7 #8

3, 4, 6, and 7 all appear to have male specific barring. 5 and 8 look like pullets, but might be male black sexlinks. TSC is notorious for mixing up chicks and selling straight run as sexed pullets. They have a terrible reputation when it comes to selling chicks.

I got them from TSC and they are supposed to all be pullets.

Hm. Maybe not rocks at all, then. CA grays are lighter.

I've seen a bin of straight run black sexlinks at a TSC before. And, of course, they sell all the females to people who know how to tell and then it's a bin of all males that look a good bit like barred Rock chicks... But I have to wonder if the hatchery straight up grabbed from the wrong container. It might not be TSC's error.

I have two silkies that the breeder swore was females when we got them at 5-6 weeks old. They are now I think 15-16 weeks old. I heard one do what I'm pretty sure was a crow. Are either or both of these Roos or pullets?? These pictures are of Sassy.

2 thru 8 look like sex links to me with 2 possibly being pullet since no white spot on head and the red in chest and such. If that's the case the rest are males due to spot on heads.??? With TSC ya never know, only certain ones actually have someone knowledgeable working with chicks and it's not many

Both boys. That is a lot of comb development for only 7 weeks.

I think my previous post got lost in the shuffle! So we are pretty certain that all but the white are pullets. Any guesses on the white one? The comb seems awfully big but I'm a beginner so I really dont know what to think. A couple others in a different post said pullet but this picture is a little better. What do you think?!?!?!
