Sugar is 5 weeks. I looked at its wings when I got it and it had the distinct 2 rows of pin feathers so I assumed it was a girl. This was the only one I got after the others.

looks like a pullet, If it has two rows of pin feathers it is.

Hello, I am new to the chicken life. But I'm really excited and have been enjoying my chicks

I do have a couple questions about whether or not my chicks really are girls as they say they are. I have one who is a little more aggressive than the rest and he has some of the signs of being a cockerel. I just wanted to see what others thought. He is a olive egger, believe the cross maran and Ameraucana. He is about 4 weeks old.

How can you tell? I'm new to this and all the pics online shows the hens with larger combs. Soooo confused and upset! This one has the pest personality!

Female Brown Leghorns have a completely different coloring than the males.
