Not Sure If You've Got A Pullet Or Cockerel? Click Here! Thread 2

I am guessing you will need to see a little more on some of these but please let me know what you think on each. They are seven different birds. Thank you so much for the help!

This 1st one looks like a male EE to me.

I'm also skeptical (but not 100%) sure on this lighter BR. Often the males have a lot more white than the females. From a distance, a female will look black/dark gray and a male will look light gray. If the comb & wattles grow larger & turn pink, then you'll know it's a male.

The rest look like females.

Thank you! That makes me sad about the Easter Egger I love the pattern on that one!

Any Brahma experts? He/she is around 11 weeks give or take. View attachment 1038685 View attachment 1038686 View attachment 1038688 View attachment 1038690 View attachment 1038693 View attachment 1038694 This was sold as a pullet but I think it's a roo. Anyone with Brahma experience please? I can't keep Roos so I'd like to rehome him sooner rather then later if I get a lot of feedback that it's a male. He/she's my first Brahma and doesn't live up to the friendly calm nature I've hear about. This one is very skiddish and aloof. Wants nothing to do with me and I've tired all chicken whispering techniques ha! Oh well :(

Thanks guys :)
Wow, he's an early bloomer! Cockerel.

This is a 5+ week old EE...what do you guys think? Pretty red comb but it's much smaller than the ones on a couple other EEs I have from this hatch.

I'd really appreciate some help in identifying the sex of my 4 Buff Orpingtons. They are 9 weeks old.

Hello! I decided to start another thread on helping all you back yard chicken farmers determine the sex of your chicken.
I know it can sometimes be super tricky to identify gender in chicks, so that's why we made this thread! No need to start your own thread, just hop on here and share a picture of your chick, making sure it's at least 4 weeks old before asking gender. Me and @Jetblack2004 are almost 100% on genders for chicks 4 weeks+.
So feel free to ask lots of questions regarding gender. We do NOT identify breeds, only gender. However, if anyone out there is good at identifying breeds, please let us know, we would love to have your help!

Thanks!
