Thank you for the reply! I just took hawk to the sunroom for a photo shoot so this is her 5 min ago, no flash or artificial lighting.. based on what the lady had in her breeding pen I think she's an easter egger/Rhode island red mixRose is a red sexlink and can be sexed by coloration. Definitely a pullet. Canary is probably a White Leghorn. Too young to be certain, but looks like a pullet for now. Same goes for Chamomile.
Can you post a pic of Hawk with natural lighting?

Would help to know which breeds were the hens and what breed the rooster was that produced the chicks. If the Barred Rock is a hen, then some are likely sexlinked.View attachment 1062852

I'm new to chickens. Curious if anyone can tell me if these are pullets or cockerel. They are barn yard mixed, I know some of the breeds were white Wyandotte, Silver laced Wyandotte, barred rock, Cochin.
They never mentioned what the rooster or hens were. I'm thinking everything was crosses. Would you know what type of combs these are?Would help to know which breeds were the hens and what breed the rooster was that produced the chicks. If the Barred Rock is a hen, then some are likely sexlinked.
A few have pea combs, a few have cushion (pea and rose comb genes combined). Makes sexing a bit more difficult. Would be nice to know what dad was. They never mentioned what the rooster or hens were. I'm thinking everything was crosses. Would you know what type of combs these are?
