The 2 in back might be male.
Blk/white barred chick has a huge comb already. Pretty sure he's male.
The one next to him has slow feather growth. (In some breeds this could mean male. ) Have to wait & see on that one.

None of them are screaming cockerel here but I can't see the wings on 10 at all. 1 has a larger comb, yes, but it isn't red yet and there's no wattle growth. I'd save this pic and compare it against how it looks in two weeks. If it's a cockerel, you should see a color change and wattles while a pullet stays much the same.

ETA: the spot to watch on your black copper chicks (and the blue crossbred) isn't the face as much as the wing. If you see red feathers on the mid wing, it's a cockerel even if the comb hasn't developed yet.

Awesome! Thanks for the info. #10 has a lot of copper bleeding all over, through thoug it is rather uniform

We knew that when we got the chick and though it was not breed standard, since we are just backyard chicken keepers, we liked the slight differentiation, we will see what turns up.

I'd put $ on that one being a cockerel. The red I mentioned isn't yet clear but the bleed color is quite vivid and not as even as I'd expect on a pullet. This one has the two-tone comb that suggests it's coloring up. Plus, standing quite tall... It's all soft signs but it's a lot of them.

We have 2 EE sexed pullets that we love with all our hearts. They are 11 weeks and we are a little worried that they may be roos. Peewee is the grey EE and crispy is the brownish EE. Any help or info is greatly appreciated! Boys or girls?

BTW, the barred in the center looks cockerel here as well.

Thanks for the heads up!

Here are all 3 BR I have, not sure which photobombed the previous image, I think the lighting made it look considerably lighter than it is.

Do any of these look Roo to you?
