Not Sure If You've Got A Pullet Or Cockerel? Click Here! Thread 2

Hello:D
He (or she, I hope:rolleyes:) is an almost-8-week old Light Brahma. My bf says is a pullet, I don't know what to think: initially I tought was a cockerel, now the comb is a bit reddish (maybe can also be my immagination:lol:)but I don't see wattles and the same comb development (it's smaller and less red) of his older brothers when they were 8-weeks old (they are now 12-weeks old). What do you think? Pullet or slow-development cockerel?

Are these 2 black chicks pullets or roosters? 4 weeks old. Thinking they might both be roos... sorry if the pics aren't clear enough. Who would have thought it was so tricky to photograph chicks!

This lil cutie is a 10 week old silkie, curious to know what your thoughts are! View attachment 2190353View attachment 2190354
Looks like a pullet so far, but the coloration of the shoulders and hackles is making me think it might be a cockerel. 10 weeks is really too young to try and sex silkies.

two Cochins and one australorp! Can’t tell if the australorp is a rooster or just looks huge next to the Cochins.
Too young

Hi

Thanks
4 weeks is too young to sex polish

Hello! I decided to start another thread on helping all you back yard chicken farmers determine the sex of your chicken.
I know it can sometimes be super tricky to identify gender in chicks, so that's why we made this thread! No need to start your own thread, just hop on here and share a picture of your chick, making sure it's at least 4 weeks old before asking gender. Me and @Jetblack2004 are almost 100% on genders for chicks 4 weeks+.
So feel free to ask lots of questions regarding gender. We do NOT identify breeds, only gender. However, if anyone out there is good at identifying breeds, please let us know, we would love to have your help!

Thanks!
