Not Sure If You've Got A Pullet Or Cockerel? Click Here! Thread 2

Looks like a pullet so far, but the coloration of the shoulders and hackles is making me think it might be a cockerel. 10 weeks is really too young to try and sex silkies.

Too young

I’m leaning towards pullet

Hi
My 4 week old polish bantams, Pics 1-3 is Peppa, 4-5 is Hattie, are they boys or Girls?
Thanks
when would you be able to tell? As you can see, I am a beginner and haven’t got a clue 🙈
Many thanks

This is great! 2 blue laced Wyandottes, 1 Orpington, 1 Ayam Cemani- 7 weeks. 1 Frizzled Polish- 9 weeks!
You don’t have any blue laced red wyandottes. In the breeding of blue laced red x blue laced red, black laced red, splash laced red, and blue laced reds are produced. You have a splash laced red and a black laced red.
Both the wyandottes are cockerels, the rest are looking like pullets so far.

Good to know! Thanks much!

Hello! I decided to start another thread on helping all you back yard chicken farmers determine the sex of your chicken.
I know it can sometimes be super tricky to identify gender in chicks, so that's why we made this thread! No need to start your own thread, just hop on here and share a picture of your chick, making sure it's at least 4 weeks old before asking gender. Me and @Jetblack2004 are almost 100% on genders for chicks 4 weeks+.
So feel free to ask lots of questions regarding gender. We do NOT identify breeds, only gender. However, if anyone out there is good at identifying breeds, please let us know, we would love to have your help!

Thanks!

Is she Madonna or Murphy? 9 week old easter egger. An obvious same age cockerel in 3rd pic. TIA ❤

I've got 7 cochin bantams that are 6 weeks old, and I keep trying to guess their genders. Some I've flopped back and forth on, either way, I'm not sure.
