Hello! I ordered 5 EE pullets from cackle and the 10% chance they made a mistake is making me question this one. He/she has a wider comb than the others and, as you can see, there is a good bit of color already. I'd love to hear your thoughts about this one's gender if it isn't too early. Oh, the chicks are 5 weeks old.

I'd say that's a pullet.

Need a little help on 2 chicks I've got, I'm thinking one rooster and one pullet? First one is Australorp X Black Copper Maran cross and 2nd one is a full Australorp. Both are a little over 2 months old.

5 weeks is about the minimum for most breeds, but some cockerels can be identified before that if they are early bloomers.

Thank you! None seem to be obvious, just curious...I did put some pics up, but didn't get any takers. I'll wait a week or two and try again.
