I'd say that's a pullet.Hello!I ordered 5 EE pullets from cackle and the 10% chance they made a mistake is making me question this one. He/she has a wider comb than the others and, as you can see, there is a good bit of color already. I'd love to hear your thoughts about this one's gender if it isn't too early. Oh, the chicks are 5 weeks old.

Need a little help on 2 chicks I've got, I'm thinking one rooster and one pullet? First one is Australorp X Black Copper Maran cross and 2nd one is a full Australorp. Both are a little over 2 months old.

5 weeks is about the minimum for most breeds, but some cockerels can be identified before that if they are early bloomers.
Both look like cockerels.
