Not Sure What This Is. Need help identifying and what to do about it

Hi chickie mommas and daddies,

I'm cleaning my chickies today for mites and ticks and noticed this coloring under some feathers and not sure why it's like that and what it is.
I would appreciate all the help I can get!

That is super odd. I've never seen that before. Is it tender? It looks like it's weird coloration just on the surface.

Hopefully someone with more experience or who has seen that before can better help.

Maybe it is a darker than normal green bruise?

Can you part the feathers to see if it goes beyond the area we can see? I can’t find pictures of bruising that dark, but that sure is odd. Here is what bruises normally look like:
