Not sure what to do

I'd suggest trying to find a feed mill in your area. I have been trying to eliminate soy from my feed and almost drove 4 hours till a local feed mill found a recipe. Mills can often specialize a mix for you. And you are supporting farmers.
Interesting, I wouldn't know where to begin for that one. But I guess google will be a start. What I do get comes from small farmers on the east coast, so I am still supporting farmers. But it would be nice to be able to get it locally, and cheaper, without paying shipping. thank you, I will see what I can find out.

Whatever feed you buy supports farmers!
Small local mills may or may not have what you need, or be able to produce your special formula in the tiny amounts that you need at one time, but it doesn't hurt to ask. It will also be a mash, because of the cost for them of the machines needed to make pellets and crumble.
Have you called any of the feed companies directly?

Do they not have a Starter-Grower or Grower feed that's wheat free?
You can use Starter-Grower as you would an All-Flock/Flock Raiser feed. GC
Nope, they do not. So, I have decided that I will suffer until they all are on the layer wheat free. I'm hoping it's just one more bag. They should all be laying by late Sept early oct.
