My 12 year old daughter and 17 year old son will be going to Ireland for the Irish cup next year. They will be competing in Kumate (karate) and Jiu Jitsu. Although the trip is extremely discounted because it is for Team America, it is still $3000.00 per person and for our family of 4, that's a big chunk of change. So we sat down and brainstormed how to save the money over the next 12 months. My daughter is very creative and does lots of work with polymer clay so she wanted to sculpt things and sell them. Since Easter is so close and we have an excess of Duck eggs this is what she started with as a way to help raise the money to go to Ireland. I am very proud of her for coming up with this and wanted to share. These are blown out, covered in metallic clay designs and buffed to a shine before sealing. She is selling them for $6 each and although it would be a drop in the bucket, it shows her dedication.
