Well, since no one else has replied I guess I will. You are not going to find silkie chicks for $1. Even the aesthetically challenged hatchery chicks are more than one dollar. Also, straight run means that they are not sexed. As most available silkie chicks are straight run, you will not find female chicks for sale. If someone does offer to sell you female chicks, you are probably being taken. Good luck.
