What a great idea Lynne! I would love that. I work weird days and hours but am somewhat able to jig it around and can travel where ever we decide. Who else is in? Maybe I'll send personal messages to all the ones I find to check in here. Never sure how to get the word out as there are SO many words on this site.

Sheesh, this was difficult to find. Anyway, here I am finally. I saw a guy on TV a while back who raised rare types of chickens, his last name was Murray and he was from P.E.I.

I would love a dozen pullets in the spring, hopefully I can find them. After I move in about six weeks, I will be thinking about coop construction.

I'm not Nova Scotian, but my small Maine town borders New Brunswick-- so I'm closer than lots in the grand scheme of things

Maine and the Maritimse shold have formed a country when the Salient was up for grabs! Same climate, many similar customs and definitely the same predators! Raccoons here are breeding like flies this year.

Well, maybe it's time to unite now! I've only lived here a few months, but keep hearing that Northern Maine wants to separate from Southern Maine-- but I think that's been going on for generations...
