November 2021 Hatch-A-Long

Pics
7 days until my broody duck hatches hers out. Started off with 20 under her. Not sure how many are still there/good. I suppose we’ll find out next week. My 4 incubated ducklings are a week now and are growing way to fast for my liking. And the goose should hatch hers a week or so after the duck. I’m not too sure on her, I didn’t realise she was sitting until a couple of days later.

Eggs in incubator... The cluster of 5 dark eggs including the purple, are my hens, the 4 eggs to the front are on day 16, the rest are the Alabama eggs, all clears removed. The eggs behind the 4 are on day 6.

I also have these 3 below, they are on day 6 but the dark is one of mine, a day behind, the tan is a blood ring, but I am going to hang on to it incase it is still developing. The blue is a dark shell and hard to see in, i am not giving up on it.

Purple?! I've never seen this color egg!
What kinda chicken lays this?!

QUESTION...I had read the incubator needed to be in a quiet dark place while chicks grow...when I had to move it to a better area in the house just prior to lockdown I totally forgot about this!
So while I can easily monitor them during lockdown...they now are in our living room so when grandbabies come over it is louder than ordinarily.
Is this going to jeopardize the hatch?!

I don't know if it made that much difference, but my incubator lives on my kitchen counter. I have 4 kids (teens and preteens), so it's far from quiet in the afternoon and evenings. Can't help but wonder if that's why they tend to hatch during the day when we're all gone.

My first time with all this...do yall usually stay up all night with them til they are all hatched? Idk...super excited and just want em to be ok!
You'd never know we just had our 3rd grandbaby 2 weeks ago litterally right this hour by my excitement at chicks hun!?! 😆

And question...did the Lil chick pip in wrong area of egg? Here's another pic...ignore the black line on majority of pic (my way of identifying Vanilli's eggs after lockdown)
