it's the old egg you set right?? the only one you got due in this thread

Yes, the one I found in the dryer lint. The egg had to be a week or two based on the air cell. I'd say past one week and headed toward 2 weeks.

and it's zipping! wow that is great to here then!! It's a mutt i think right?

Well, it's a pure OEGB, but a mutt in terms of the color strain.

Cuckoo OEGB, father unknown bantam x, probably the boss rooster, who is white. (All our bantams are OEGB until some of the chicks we bought and hatched from purchased eggs grow up.)

yea it's pure...color strain is important when selling...but ether way you look at it it's pure. Now my guy's im hatching are WILD!! this banty cross im doing is something i hope to perfect in the next year so i can their egg's for profit. They will all be PQ since they are cross...but both parrent's are SQ all the way.

We have an OEGB color that happened in this generation that we want to try to breed for. So I get to find more white roosters, since what we have are two pretty little hens in a totally unapproved color scheme.

Tomorrow I get to find the plastic critter keeper to put into the brooder. My new little guy is hatched. As predicted, he's his mother's chick. A little silver one. But he's also weeks younger than his "siblings" so something must be done to keep him from being trampled.

Well my bob's are coming early. I have two that are hatched, and many more that are piped.

I'm wondering if I got the day I set them correct. Can't remember for sure. They look good though. Yeah!

If your humidity is good and all other conditions are good, let it try. Last time I had one and didn't Myapooh too? We both had to help, but in our cases, we were having a fairly catastrophic set of circumstances.
