I am glad your little peeper made an appearance before work. I was worried you'd miss it.
As far as integrating, I'd be nervous. My two hatched only 12 hours apart or something ( I don't know. I've had so little sleep I've lost track of what happened when) but they still peck at each other incessantly. One will wait until the other dozes off and then peck it awake. Or they'll both fall asleep and one will start chirping, wake the other one up and the woken one will peck at the cheeping one to complain. It seems to have calmed down a bit since I put them in the brooder. They found the food and water already so they've got something to do and more space than the tiny egg crib they were in before.


My son predicted we'd end up with 13 and I think he's going to be right. 3 more pipped and 3 without a single wiggle. Still that's good going into lockdown with 16!
