Hello!(new member) I’m from southeastern Oklahoma, I’m a sophomore in highschool and I’ve been hatching eggs since May of this year. Some of the first hatches I’ve incubated I've successfully gotten Wyandotte’s, a deleware bantam, light brahma’s, production red’s, and then all the mutts.

This hatch I put 63 eggs in the ‘bator and 46 went into lockdown. (Old eggs are the reason to blame I think) I have one dozen of of mutt eggs, one deleware bantam egg, and the rest are production reds.

My next hatch will be Sebastopol Geese eggs and maybe some duck eggs if I can find them.

Nice to meet you all!

They are so cute such good poses, like the fluffy beards

Do any of y’all DREAM about your chickens?! :D Guess I was so excited for my Deathlayers to hatch last night!

5 of my 6 hatched! One must have drown during pip in middle of night 😭 when I got up it had pipped and beak was out of shell but had some dried fluid on little beak and no sign of life left. It was the one that was cracked and patched, the patch was on pointy end, so should not have impeded pip/zip.

I’ll post pics of the 5 wildlings once they are fluffy in the brooder!
