Of the four CL eggs that have made it to day 19, three have pipped. Surprised these are a bit early. Lots of peeping going on. One pipped on the wrong end but I’ll keep a watch to help if needed.

It was pointed out to me when I hatched my Cream Legbars and crosses in early June that they tend to be early. I was surprised as well.

Thank you for that. Good to know. I had a test hatch last month and one was two days early come to think of it. I just set up the brooder and moved her out of the incubator so she doesn't trample and disorient the others who are also peeping.

it’s still the only one to hatch so far, but look at it! the black spot on it just kills me. it’s so cute. it also has a little black around its face. still no idea who the dad is. the chick hatched from an ISA brown egg

so, I’m dumb and miscounted the days. Today was only day 20 and the first lil peeper hatched early. Now to anxiously wait for the actual day 21

I have 6 eggs going into lockdown today! Considering I started with 18 eggs it seems like a pretty sad number, but it's about what I expected seeing as they're shipped serama eggs. 4 of them came from a different seller than the others and had horribly mangled air cells, 2 of those never developed and 2 quit early. Of the other 14, 5 never developed and 3 were quitters.

I'm cautiously optimistic about these remaining 6 as they're all looking great at lockdown! Fingers crossed that they hatch and I have some fluffy little peepers in a few days.
