It was pointed out to me when I hatched my Cream Legbars and crosses in early June that they tend to be early. I was surprised as well.

Thank you for that. Good to know. I had a test hatch last month and one was two days early come to think of it. I just set up the brooder and moved her out of the incubator so she doesn't trample and disorient the others who are also peeping.

I have 6 eggs going into lockdown today! Considering I started with 18 eggs it seems like a pretty sad number, but it's about what I expected seeing as they're shipped serama eggs. 4 of them came from a different seller than the others and had horribly mangled air cells, 2 of those never developed and 2 quit early. Of the other 14, 5 never developed and 3 were quitters.

I'm cautiously optimistic about these remaining 6 as they're all looking great at lockdown! Fingers crossed that they hatch and I have some fluffy little peepers in a few days. :)
