It is super exciting I love it if I could I would constantly have eggs in the incubator but my wife would kill me if I was hatching that many chickensYes DH is dear husband. I be lazy. I have to go to the store soon and I don't wanna leave the babies lol. This is my first time hatching from an incubator, the excitement is so real lol. It's far less addictive when they are under a hen and u can't see what's happening
Mine started at 5 chickens it’s now going to be 24 so yeah chicken math is realDitto, lol.
I decided to get back into chickens in July. I bought an incubator and hatching eggs. And then more eggs. And then another incubator and more eggs. My last batch hatched 2 weeks ago. I now have 10 nearing POL, 2 ten week old cockerels, 5 at 6 weeks old (2 cockerels, 3 pullets), and my last hatch of 23 two week olds.
Chicken math = decided on getting 4 to 6, now I have 40.
We are looking at two 7 acre plots right next to each other to make one 14 acre plot that’s what I’m wanting right now I’m gonna have lots and lots of chickens a cow or two rabbits and then my aquaponics system gonna make that massive
. Two more have also pipped.
