Great! Keep an eye on it. I just had to peel a oversized chick out. It had been externally pipped for over 24hrs and the membrane had turned brown. Keep us updated!

Thanks. Both of the pips are barely visible, no shell pieces have broken away yet. Luckily I just have to work 5 hours tomorrow, so I will be back home by 1ish. Day 21 just started. Hopefully some more will start by the time I get back home so I can stand guard, lol.

Yes, it can! I hatched out some Blue Stars last month that were crazy fast from pip to hatch. I played chicks peeping for them earlier, but it hasn't appeared to have sped these up any, lol.

Good morning! This morning I hear chirping! There are 4 pips, 2 Cl & 2 BI. No Bielefelder yet. They are not quite half way through day 21. Only one of the pips are significant enough to show any membrane yet, but larger areas of cracked shell. These 2 are hard to see in the pic:

Two BLs and 2 CLs have hatched. One CL pip, and 2 BFs have pipped.

Yeah well I have a new incubator that will be here tomorrow and I got some more eggs on the way to set so I’m gonna ditch this incubator it’s a little giant and I’ve had nothing but problems out of it
