November Hatch -- Who's going to have late fall babies?

I lockdown on Saturday when I have a BUNCH of people over. I am going to have to stuff the bator into a corner somewhere.

I had eggs due to hatch tomorrow; I also have early hatchers! Two have hatched already. Little Thanksgiving chicks.

I heated up one of the empty MiniAdvance incubators for a place to keep 'em for now.

3 hatched and 7 pipped(mixed chicks). 2 havnt done anything.
1 silkie is hatched, and 2 orangy yellowy chicks (they look like they have the same mom and dad because they came out of the same looking egg, also I think one has fluffy cheeks!!! YAY, ee dad!

Here's a pick of the proud 1st time momma. Sat on 8 but only hatched 3, not bad for a first attempt at the wrong time of year. It's been pretty cold at night. And these were her 1st 8 eggs.

She wouldn't have done it because it wasn't her egg, would she?

I'm a little disappointed - because I really would have loved a full Brahma baby! Lola's will be mixed. Actually I will be THRILLED with anything - LOL!

I talked to a Brinsea office manager and was told that the sale ends Christmas. Hurry, guys and gals, before the sale ends!

Sounds like I have peeping under the crazy broody. Eggs are due Monday I think......I expect them to hatch late tomorrow or Sunday.


She is still sitting tight. Very angry about being bothered. 20 something degrees tonight, hope her big ol butt and fluff keeps em warm!
