A week ago i had a late hatching egg, both of my hens refused to claim it, so it came home with me. I put it in with my month-old silkie figuring she was the calmest of my older babies so that it would have a friend. They get along great. Then tonight i had to move my just-hatched babies out of their brooder as they were trampling the newest since they were all born yesterday/this morning and can walk around.

well, i put them in with the silkie... and now the poor thing has 4 little babies following it everywhere going "Momma! Momma! Momma! Come back Momma!"

watching this... poor little Regan is NOT happy with me... but she's tolerating them!
