Nurture Right 360 and humidity

Yes I have this on the bottom I could probably take it out if needed. I was told alot of holes. This is stressful the first hatch I never thought It was possible to stare at eggs so long lol

That is the exact weave that gave me the lower humidity number, but they hatched just fine! I switched to a more checker-block style and the humidity read higher. The hatch still went well. So just try to relax and enjoy the hatch! I know, easy for me to say. Lol :D

OK the other thermometer is stopped at 69% humidity and 95.4 for temp. I'm running the incubator at 100. I don't know what one. Is wrong. Should I increase the temp. On the incubator it shows it running at 100.0 incubator warehouse thermometer shows 95.4 it is new I got it a week ago I out it in before and it pretty much matched the incubator. I have it sitting in corner on the bottom

Are you also using a Nurture Right 360 incubator? I don't know anything about them but you can absolutely trust WVduckchick's advice about any of this. If your trusted thermometer is telling you that the temp in the bator is 95.4 it is too low. You may find that your hatch is delayed due to lower temp. Did you calibrate the thermometer before using it?

HI, yes I'm using nurture right 360. No it's not calibrated but it did match a week ago. So didn't think I needed to. I have a non digital thermometer I just put it in to see if it reads that low to.

I'd change the batteries in the extra thermometer first. Maybe its running out of juice.
I have six eggs in and all
(thanks for the vote of confidence @oregonkat. you are awesome and give great advice as well!)

I have six eggs in incubator they are shipped eggs. One duck has externally pipped and the other five are internally pipped. Not exactly sure what time they all internally pipped but I know one is just about 24 hours. If at 9pm it has not externally pipped should I help? That would be pushing about 30 hours.. I see you don't like to and I really don't want to unless you need to be. They are all moving great and the one coming up on 24 hours is non stop hitting shell has been for a few hours. I can't walk away lol I honestly believe three were internally pipped yesterday. Since they are trying like they are should I leave them alone? I'd appreciate any advice.

I do safety holes in anything that has internally pipped for more than 24 hours without an external pip...unless they have very large air cells, I may give them a bit longer. If the air cells are on the small side, I may do safe holes sooner. Just a tiny hole and pierce the membrane, just so they get some external air.
