Nurture Right 360 Incubator Okay?

Pics
I ran mine with the turner off the first couple of days so I could put a thermometer/humidity gauge in it. So far so good.... just turned the egg turner on tonight. Only 5 more days till I can candle and have some ideas if the eggs are even fertile. Of course some are dark enough that it will be a struggle to see anything

Hi everyone! I'm about to add eggs to this incubator tonight and I have some questions about the turner. First, is it supposed to continually run, or do we need to push the buttons to make it go a few times a day? (It doesn't say in the manual and mine is plugged in but not turning, test run worked though) Second, has anyone had bantam eggs in here? Will they turn okay?

Small eggs don't turn as well as larger chicken eggs. I hatch pheasant eggs, which are about the same size as bantam eggs. It turns them to the same 'starting' point each time it turns, so you may get poor development of the embryos. Some peeps have used it for bantam eggs without problems but I didn't have very good results with the turner.

The turner will automatically set it's self when you turn-on the power. It counts down the days until the last 3 days when in 'lockdown', it shuts the turner off for the last 3 days.
You can 'test' the turner at anytime without affecting the counter. It turns the eggs every hour.

I have near 100% hatch rate with my own bantam cochin eggs in this incubator. Never had a problem even though the small eggs do tend to turn funny sometimes.

I purchased the Nurture Right 360 today and it appears they have modified the fan cover so that the openings are smaller. However, I can’t help but wonder if I should go ahead and give them a call to request the foam piece they were sending out to reduce risk of circuit board damage caused by increased humidity during lock down.

Sure, why not? It should be free of charge.
