My humidity was matching my inside hygrometer, but the temp was off a degree. Strangely now the temperature is matching the inside thermometer, but the humidity has lowered! Now I've adjusted it back to 99.5 and I'm hoping I didn't fry my eggs by increasing the temp. This is why I try to use a broody hen normally. I might move these eggs under one before it's too late.Does the humidity seem right. Mine says 45 and the one inside says 55?
I think this would be difficult to do. I'd let them sit in an egg carton for 24 hours when you receive them with the fat side up at room temperature so that the air cells can rest. At least that is what I did.I am using shipped hatching eggs and some of the advice is to place them in the incubator fat side up and not on their side and not have them rotate for a few days. Do you think that is possible in this incubator?
Thanks! That's a very helpful article!Incubating Eggs - The Poultry Site

Skip down to temperature. There is a little wiggle room. This was one of the articles I read after power outage.
