Near what city would any fall Chickenstock be ? I would have chicks a few months old to sell by then The AB and some pure Marans .... number all depending on broody hens.

Sorry been quiet - locked out of the forum for a while and roofing issues .... all settled now.

I live between Penn Yan and Middlesex. There is a camp ground just down the road if you like camping.....

Ok folks - there seems to be moderate interest in a Fall gathering. I am open to any time, I will be retired by then I'm thinking late August early September but open to suggestions....

I finally got my cooler/cabinet incubator rewired, so have to do some test hatches to see if that fixed the problem. The eggs from Chickenstock are in my Genesis 1588, so they should be fine.
So, if it's successful, I should have chickens to bring in the fall.

I'm not allowing myself to hatch (ever) again. I still have 62 chicks to sell and evaluate. I'm sure I'll change my mind, but for now Fall is looking like a visit-only chickenstock. I'll also have an infant at that time and might not be traveling yet. We'll see.
