We have 3 eggs from Isabel so far. More eggs please..... Go Isabel go! Hatch hatch, peep peep. Can you tell that I want chicks from her? It will be interesting to see how the chicks turn out with Eli as their daddy. Then next spring, we'll what kind of babies Sam with throw.
Pharm -Sam is full of pin feathers and filling out beautifully! He is looking like a big boy more and more.

Well you can always stop here for chicks if you become desperate. Chicks I got and more on the way, but not so much time and space. Not to mention the chick feed price.

I do have another scratch off from CM yet. The last one I got 20% off my two bags of feed. Unfortunately they don't let you scratch it til after they've rung up everything or I would have gotten another bag. I hope I'm as lucky with this last one.

this is all you need for a pool. BTW the little ones are 16 weeks old this week and I got my 1st egg from one of them today! Quite a bit smaller than Penelope's this morning, but the same bluish color. Ohh, and it was in the pool

OMG they are sooo cute, I have to stop looking at animals on here...my husband will kill me if I want ducks...lol I can't believe he is swallowing me getting chickens!

I never get tired of pics. I just don't have a good camera. You can post all the pictures you want.

I have a good camera, but NEVER have time to run in to grab it when I catch these guys doing something funny. I do always have my phone on me, so most of these pictures are taken with that.

Oh good. Cant wait to see what he looks like all filled out. His brothers are also looking really fantastic. Geri has some girls for me to put with them so hopefully I will get them soon. Arwin is growing in leaps and bounds but still too little for them to be interested in. How many eggs are you going to let Isabel sit on? What color is Eli?

My reds are laying machines!!! Got a dozen so far and they arent done yet. I have one pullet that seems to be acting broody. I didnt think rir were all that broody. Going to try and get pics of the boys after lunch. Hmmm...Im thinking eggs for lunch!!! lol

Thanks for the offer! :) I have some eggs from my BBS pen and some Lavender silkie eggs in the bator right now. I was trying to wait for Isabel to start laying before putting anything in the bator, because she is so gorgeous (we call her the "Beauty Queen"), and I want some chicks from her badly. I had been collecting eggs from my other 2 hens and I had to get them in before they spoiled. I didn't really think they'd be fertile because their bums are just so fluffy, I figured they'd need a trim. Low and behold, Eli, was doing his job just fine! No complaints though, chicks are on the way.

chickens are fun. Ducks are pure entertainment with a lot of huge eggs as a bonus. Ducks are almost always playing.

I'll post a pic of Sam a little later today. You'll be surprised! He is looking very nice, especially in the cushion and tail, nice and fluffy. Post some pics of the new ladies when they arrive!
None of my hens are broody right now, so I am just collecting to put in the bator. So, the more eggs from Isabel, the better. Eli is blue. I'm hoping for some black and splash babies, but I'll be very happy with blue babies as well.
