Look Pricey! But I'm sure you could google more of them and find different prices. (Sounds like wants more than one?)

Also, you may want to try contacting this guy - looks like he makes them for a lesser cost. Not sure if he ships them though His screen name is

But he's not suffering from some crazy gigantic disorder? I don't mind if it's normal for him to be large but I was terrified that I bought the Andre the Giant of chickens. I should probably seperate him from my bantams so he doesn't squish them shouldn't I? Unless the girls are going to catch up with him in terms of growth I don't think I have any pullets I'd feel safe letting him mount.
I think he is going to be about the average size LF Brahma. He isn't to huge or to small. I may have an Andre the Giant of chickens though. My cockerel Ace from Featherz is getting huge. A bit to big for his age. I have one 2 months older than him an they are the exact same size. I'll have to get pics sometime.

Ugh I hope everybody is have a good day so far. I've only been at work for 2 hours and I'm ready to leave and need some chicken therapy. People drive me NUTS. Why can't they just admit they are wrong and apologize, even when you provide them with proof of their mistake? Ugh.....stay cool everyone!

Thanks for tips on the towel-wrap, Gramma and Armor... That's a good idea, as I have been scratched and those scratches usually get red and ugly before healing.

Marq and/or anyone with eye drop experience:

With regard to the eye drops, I need good dosing instructions. I am going to head out shortly and purchase a bottle, as I have errands out towards TSC anyway. If the drops are for cows, I would worry about how to properly dose a bird. I will ask at the store, but please share your advice if you've used them. Also, I would think I should treat the other eye, just in case? Not sure about that thought...

Thx again.

You'll be lucky to get one drop in the eye.....LOL I'd do one drop, or if its like a gel, just enough to get into the eye. He will blink out any extra so not to worry. I would think twice a day is enough. Good luck...If its an injury, just the injured eye needs it.

For eye problems - a friend had some really great stuff called something like one drop one eye one time. Supposed to be for pigeons, but she read it worked for chickens, and tried it on a bird with a horrible swollen eye. It has no ingredients on it (anyone know what's in it?) and within two days the eye was 100% better. I had given her everything I could think of to try on that eye and this was the only stuff that worked (I've got people eye meds, vet-rx, terramycin for the cats, etc). I have a personal interest as that eye was swollen for weeks and this stuff brought it down immediately and I'd love to know how. :)

I've read similar stories on that stuff and the pigeon people really like it. Still wanna know what's in it!

Here's a thread where the stuff was mentioned wrt chickens:
