Are these what you're talking about? My son wants those wooden poultry crates for his birthday. He wants to use them for when he showes his chickens in the fair. I can't find them... Dose anyone know where I can get them??
I think he is going to be about the average size LF Brahma. He isn't to huge or to small. I may have an Andre the Giant of chickens though. My cockerel Ace from Featherz is getting huge. A bit to big for his age. I have one 2 months older than him an they are the exact same size. I'll have to get pics sometime. But he's not suffering from some crazy gigantic disorder? I don't mind if it's normal for him to be large but I was terrified that I bought the Andre the Giant of chickens. I should probably seperate him from my bantams so he doesn't squish them shouldn't I? Unless the girls are going to catch up with him in terms of growth I don't think I have any pullets I'd feel safe letting him mount.
You'll be lucky to get one drop in the eye.....LOL I'd do one drop, or if its like a gel, just enough to get into the eye. He will blink out any extra so not to worry. I would think twice a day is enough. Good luck...If its an injury, just the injured eye needs it.Thanks for tips on the towel-wrap, Gramma and Armor... That's a good idea, as I have been scratched and those scratches usually get red and ugly before healing.
Marq and/or anyone with eye drop experience:
With regard to the eye drops, I need good dosing instructions. I am going to head out shortly and purchase a bottle, as I have errands out towards TSC anyway. If the drops are for cows, I would worry about how to properly dose a bird. I will ask at the store, but please share your advice if you've used them. Also, I would think I should treat the other eye, just in case? Not sure about that thought...
Thx again.
