Ok, Monitor set up and it's sensitive enough that I can hear them shuffling their feet!

Has anyone see these? Solar Powered Motion Lights? I was thinking of getting two for
It has rained so much here. In my run around the coop is a mud hole. To bad I don't have pigs. I almost took a digger last night in the storm trying to close up for the night. I think that I need to get a load of gravel to put next the coop where it is so muddy. Most of the coop has good grass, but there is the one side of the coop where it is muddy. Any Ideas on what to do to help. I put some shavings down, but I don't think that I put enough cause it all washed away in the rain. I'll get a picture in the morning of my muddy problem area. I can't afford much so I need to come up with something that is as close to free as possible. I was thinking about putting the shavings from the coop there and then just cleaning it up in the spring. I know that will be a lot of work. The only other option that we have is to move the coop to the other side of the run and that will take a small army. It weights a ton. The ducks don't seem to mind the mud, but it is getting to the point where the girls don't like to go on that side. They don't mind walking through the other muddy patch when it is free (range)time.
Is there a way for you to section it off so the chickens/ducks can't get to it for a couple of weeks? Anytime I've moved a coop it leaves a bare spot in the lawn. I have a round pen that I bought for the rabbits last summer that I use when repatching those spots by planting grass seed. I buy that Scott's EZ Seed and just sprinkle it down and it's amazing how fast it grows in and covers the spot. I have a big square blow up pool in the backyard all summer and when I took it down I sectioned off that square, sprinkled the EZ Seed over it and it grew in within 2 weeks. Although having the area in a sunny spot helps too. But I would at least try to grow some grass before anything else if you can section it off some how so the chickens cant get in there. My mud pit. It is actually flat, but it hasn't been the same since the flooding in July that we got. When we got the flooding the water ran through our yard then through the run under the coop then out in the dog yard. I need to figure out what to do to the area to help it not stay so wet.
