TsideGot a bit more snow and as far as i know no one has ventured out the run, they go out in the run cuz the food is there and most lay in or under the rabbit hutch. But i will see if anyone went outside when i get home from work later. But im sure with this wind probably not lol.

I've seen large foot prints out back again but it may just be the cat I saw. Rabbits and squirrels too.

Now I recently was reading a post of someone in TX who was using heat in their coop and had a lot of sick birds, wanting to know what was wrong. Rest assured the cold is most likely be the last thing that will make your birds sick. The humidity from added heat will definitely do it. Your birds exhale a great deal of heat and moist air. This is why you want air vents near the TOP of your coop. Hot air rises and with it that moisture. Cross winds will draw it off and away. It's all very scientific.

Snow what snow? Lol i had to plow my drive with the back bumper of my car lastnight. Had to move feed back into coop. They wouldnt go eat and it was getting covered in snow fast. I left the heated dog bowl right outside the pop door though.

Why is it i see stuff in rochester i want all the time but when i come up here for my daughters surgries there is never anything good on craigslist.

Daughter getting last hole in heart closed up today. Just got told almost done and doing good. Love that they can do it through veins and such.

Well I candled today and it's not looking so so great. The only eggs I can see veins in are Stella's, my Lav Orp.

One of them looks funky though, like there are two "blood spots" ?? I'll try to take a pic. I don't think that one will go anywhere and will quit soon if it hasn't already. The Buff Eggs and BR eggs are still a little difficult to tell so I'll check those again in the next couple of days. The silkie eggs look like they have nothing at all going on inside them. Which is a bummer because those were really the only ones I cared about most. But again, I'll check them out in the next few days or so.

Lynzi777 what day are you on? I'm on day one doing the new year hatch along.

This is Day 4 for me. I was going to do the NY Hatch but my oldest egg was from the 3rd and it was Silkie egg. I was more concerned for those than the others. I know I have 10 or so days from the date they are laid but I figured the sooner they hit the incubator the better.
