NY chicken lover!!!!

Thanks Glass,
I'm feeling much better than yesterday, I think it was heat stroke...I couldn't get up/lift my head without feeling really dizzy and lightheaded. As long as I laid there in bed I was fine. Still feeling a little lightheaded today, at least it's cool here this morning and I have a beautiful breeze hitting me while I enjoy the morning on my front porch with all my newly planted flowers. This one bloomed this morning from inside my kitchen. It had broken off one of the Peony plants I just bought:

Love all my flowers, the smell beautiful.

Rancher I hope your wife has a quick painless recovery will continue praying for you guys and will pray you get some better news on Monday.

Thanks for that. I think there are two CR chicks from these shipped eggs. Lets hope they're both roos or at least one. Hatch is nearly done and I'm not hopeful anymore will hatch. Mostly EE's this time round. ?? Can't figure that one out.

What are you feeding yours?

Someone asked for pics of the coops my dh and I are building. Here they are....

Yes my lab likes it! These are small, intended for a breeding pair of LF or a trio of bantam. Cost to build each one was under $100. The lumber is rough cut from the amish.

I am posting for a friend who would like chicks over the age of 2 months. Or maybe some fertilized eggs I could hatch out for him.

He is looking for something within 30-45 minutes of the Buffalo area.

Thanks
Jenn

I don't know what size eggs it lays but they must be whoppers!

We had already taken out the eggs this morning so I have her the oldest eggs that I had set aside for hatching (May 9th and 10th). I am shocked at the nest she made. I didn't know ducks made such great nests. This dog house was a big mess of hat and shavings and she managed to take all the hay, move it to the front corner, make a little "pot" type hole in the middle, and leave all the shavings behind.
