Temp going back up, but tomorrow it's supposed to be cooler...!!! A good thing, since I may be in NYC shopping away.

So sorry...they just aren't as cute! I would be interested in a hen though...sometime for my DD...do you sell any of the hens?

Ohhh, I wish my DH would cull for me. I've had to do it twice and both times I had to do it myself. He won't even kill spiders.

And *I'M* the vegetarian!

Laffin'

I hope I NEVER have to kill any of my chickens. I just couldn't do it. First, I am to slow to catch them.

But I am the one that kills insects in my household too. Has nothing to do with eating preferences here, it has to do with Ray NAMING all the insects. And he claims he can't kill a friend.

Storms blew through here while I was at work this afternoon. Came home to find my big girls nice and dry from hanging out under the coop. My silkies?? Looked like drowned rats! The up side is that with their poof all wet, they can see really well! They all ran to me to tell me what happened. Mumbles had a lot to say. Oh, I do see little tiny red wattles on one of my blue silkies. Does this mean rooster for sure? They look so cute!!!
It sure does take them a long time to learn stuff. They have finally mastered the ramp but I still have to go out every night and chase them to the ramp to get them to go to bed. I guess they have a slow learning curve. I will have to look through my teaching material to see if I can create a better lesson plan for them. I'm thinking smartboards wont work but maybe some slides or a short film. Flashcards are out as they tried to eat them.
