Little chickies have to be inside now anyway ..in a brooder ..We didnt have a coop at 1st either .i saw one once in watertown i was like i wanna go and get some chicks ^.^ but i didn't say anything and we don't have a coop yet
Cute !![]()
.they lived in the library in a big box till it got warmer out & we built a coop ..
They thought our house was their house ...coz it was for a while .
we let them outside for a little when they were little .
We put them in the cage & on the cart ..and carted them out
they did gardening with me ...the pots have weeded out grass ..they loved to take it out of the containers & eat it ..
Even though there was tons of it everywhere...

, so sad to hear you lost so many birds. At least your neighbor did the right thing so it won't happen again. I do have several year old ducks I would sell, and some of the hens have started laying. There is a trio of pekins that are siblings to the two you got at last year's chickenstock, some rouen, swedish, and mixes. Also have extra muscovies, and a small flock of hatchery LF cochins from last year's chicks.
