Hi there all! I'm here in CNY. We've had chickens for many years but recently got aome Barred Rocks and Americanas. A few of the chicks didn't make it so we picked up fourteen to replace them today. They technically belong to my parents.

I personally got some beautiful French Black Copper Marans, with blood line from France. I'm told they're going to lay very dark eggs. I'm really excited about them!

@RubyNala97 I'm usually checking Oneonta Craigslist, sometimes Binghamton. I put in a search for chickens or egg incubator and it will pop up also in your area after the ones close. Got lucky on that one popping up on Oneonta, not close to me at all.

I troll Syracuse, Binghamton, Ithaca CL. Think I seen a Brinsea Mini (like what Lynzi has) for sale. Holds 7 eggs, used for one hatch. Can't remember where though, think my eyes were crossing from exhaustion at that point lol

This is what happens when men fail to listen to directions....

Hubby drove too close to the wet spot. Neighbor down the road brought his 4 wheel drive tractor to haul him out. Going to drop off an 18 pack of eggs to thank him.
In other news, supposedly one of our other neighbors dropped off 4 red hens from someone else sometime last week *faceplant* We hadn't noticed any new hens and I counted all the normal ones today (21 hens). Must be they ran off. So much for biosecurity.
Little girl done with snack so back to fence fixing and enjoying this beautiful weather!
