I am selling my blue laced red Wyandotte flock to make room for my newer interestes.

I have 12 hens & 2 splash roosters. I don't want to be bothered with shipping, so am posting this here first.

I will sell the hens in groups of 2, 1 blue and 1 splash. $60 for both. A rooster is $25. All birds are under 2 years old.

I have been breeding these birds for almost 6 years and never introduced another breed, or Wyandotte variety, as several other well know blrws breeders have. My flock has been closed all this time.

I can think of only 1 current breeder of blrws that has not in the past purchased stock from me. And that breeder although has very similar background stock as I, did introduce another variety to improve their stock.

I'm sad to report that the last egg was crushed by the momma hen and appeared to stop developing around day 15. What I thought was a "pip" was a feather stuck to the shell. I'm sad, cuz it was a different egg than the other three....brown with specks...the others were just brown, like the supermarkets.

BUT 3 out of 4 is NOT a bad hatch rate. I would have been happy with just ONE so this darn hen will start laying again in a month or so.

I guess my record of having all but one hatch each time is intact.

Now to find out what the heck I hatched....and I don't mean gender, I mean breed. LOL

Hi All,
I am in Cohoes, NY and a mom to 3 White bearded silkies. I cannot have my little darlings outside, due to ordinances, but I do keep them in a special area I made for them in my basement. I take them on field trips. Love my chickies.
