NY chicken lover!!!!

Gramma, yuck! I've seen that before, not from my birds, but I don't know what causes it.

Okay, I just did some math, and it turns out my oldest cockerel still living in my workshop is five months old. I want him and his friends OUT! I just need a place to put them. I saw him try to mate with one of the younger pullets in there. I really need to get them out. I just don't want to put them right into the coop and disturb the broodies, but I really have no other place for them. It is a conundrum.

Gramma, I saw something by the Chickenchick about those weird eggs. There is a name for them, but they are a bad sign. It is basically pus...is what I remember. Is someone seeming sick?

Rancher, when you going to tell us the answer?

Gramma, wow, almost lost my breakfast on that one.

@miaheadspin I put these little buggars out in a temporary coop/run a few weeks ago. The wife wanted the stinky things out of the house, said they were old enough, I said but they don't have real feathers only fluff, so I put them in the garage with heatlamp at night but I was worried that it might get to hot in there when we had that hot early weather so I put them out. It took two weeks of putting the silly things in their coop everynight before they started going in themselves. They have been doing great even on the cold nights.

Hi all! I'm in Elmira NY and I'm looking for silkies, Mille fleur d'uccle or Japanese bantam pullets or hens. Anyone have any available? I'm willing to drive a bit.

If you look under the Chickenstock NY thread, there on the 1st page is a list of what everyone has for sale. I believe that a couple of people have recently added stuff and I remember reading silkies
