NY chicken lover!!!!

Hi I'm in need of a golden laced Wyandotte rooster I have to fancy hens need a mate also looking for a partridge rock hen help desperate need

I got a boy with no GLW hens, but you can't have him. :p Love my boy.

Where do you live? There is a breeder just over the NY border in Mass with really nice golden laced Wyandottes.

Do you know if they ship eggs? I like my GLW boy and want to get some more GLW. Done hatching this year though, except for the 11 eggs I just picked up tonight for a broody.

I can certainly find out! I'm incubating a bunch of her Ancona eggs at the moment, but I bought them directly. I will probably see her again in a few weeks at the next swap, but will likely contact her sooner with an egg request of my own! I will let you know!

I gave her a bath and checked and lubed her vent...did not feel an egg. What do I do now? Just watch her???
Shes just broody. Put her in a wire crate & hang it up so the cool air cools off her butt. Or is you have eggs let her hatch them.
Flip her over... is she missing chest Feathers ? She pulled them out ...she is Broody

Has anyone else had problems with seed they planted? I had to replant beans, cucumbers, and zucchini I got from TSC because it didn't come up. My dad and some of my coworkers have had the same problem.
you can check for fertility. However there are a few things that can be the prob. Overestimating, slugs, voles and mice. Micro organisms in the soil like molds too. Starting seeds indoor can help even at this time can be done. Over watering not overestimating.

Morning all. Dh let the little monsters out to free range last night for the first time. They had a good time. Their parents were not happy that they had to stay locked up. Talk about stinkeye!!! The black sexlinks pullets are very pretty and cheeky. The boys were busy challenging each other.

Prices are climbing on eggs and chicken. Demand might pick up for everyone who sells eggs. I'm at capacity now with my regulars. No plans to increase numbers, just maintain. I'm sure things will bounce back once this avian flu runs it's course.

Have a whole weekend off! Go me!

I got mine from Runnings and been kind of hit and miss. Lazy didn't winter sow seeing drop rate in seedlings with direct sowing (except for sunflowers and tomato plants which self sow everywhere)
