Yeah that was the one I read. I'm in the market for an incubator and have some Drake's with my female ducks, but if I hatch out a freak of nature y'all will be the first to know, just have to get some turkeys to cross in there lol

I just posted mine on CL. See the ad. The Turner isn't big enough for large duck eggs. Personally if I had ducks I'd stick eggs under a chicken hen. I've twice used them to hatch duck eggs for folks.

Is there much difference between the hova and the little giant? I'm curious if there is a period of time to wait before they begin to lay and throwing the fresh eggs in a bator'

I don't know about VT, but in most states it's legal to shoot a dog who is on ur property and destroying ur livestock. I'm not suggesting anyone kill a neighbors dog or turkeys, but humanely relocating those destructive turkeys is a reasonable option in the current situation. And, who knows, perhaps the neighbor who is not feed their turkeys enough couldn't afford to feed them and would appreciate them being rehomed. Do what u need to do Pyxis.

So my Cackle shipment got here 2 days ago. Now I'm trying to figure out what I have. By what age should I know the chickens from the turkey's from the Guineas? Right now all I know is I have 3 that are 1/2 the size of the other 48. As for colors, well you name it is probably have it. These chicks are colorful..

Tomorrow is processing day for set 1 of my cx. How long is the wait between processing and cooking? Any cooking method I should avoid?

Yes the difference being you don't have to keep adjusting temp. It doesn't have the new digital thermometer on top as I understand the new ones do. I have the instructions.
