NY chicken lover!!!!

I don't know where to post the following questions so hopefully someone I this forum will be able to assist either in answering the questions or steer me in the right direction.
1.) How can you tell if a hen has an egg stuck?
2.) If there is an egg stuck, can we chicken raisers help at getting the egg out before it's too late?
3.) If a hen does have an issue at "delivering" one egg, will she constantly have issues after that?

The chicken chick is good at answering these kinds of questions. Try this link:

Or search "egg bound chicken".
Is everything ok? Is one of your hens having a rough time?

how many of yall have started your gardening? or are you waiting for may 1st?  I am playing Russian roulette and put some vegetables in the ground... we'll see what happens

It's closer to June 1st for me. I'd love to be out there getting things ready, but it's just not in the cards this week. I did clean out the flower beds to get them ready for new mulch. The chickens loved the patches of grass and the dandelions I pulled up.

Giving a chicken a bath ..
Run the warm water ....gently put the chicken in ..
Hold her ...because she may flap and want to get out .
when settled ...press down on her back she should Squat ..
you might want to put towels around the sink and remove items as they can splash good if they want to

Has anyone ever had a new chick hatch out blind? He opens one eye but I'm not sure if he can see at all. Is there any ways to know for sure. He kinda walks around but looks like he's drunk when he walks, and walks into the water and feeder, abd will also just stand and look straight up for minutes at a time. He seems healthy but I just have never had a chick act in this way. Any thoughts?
