Nice pic, love the big birds, orps are like rays of sunshine with their color.
 
Because I had a terrible hatch rate I have decided to keep all the chicks that hatched out (21 healthy out of 106 eggs) and will reconsider at chickenstock. It also means I will be incubating more. :/

It isn't the ideal outcome, but I'll deal with it.

Incubator cleaning and setting today. Coop and especially nest box cleaning today. Massive amounts of garden preparations this week. I had a sewing project interrupt, but now that it's complete I'll be able to get more outside stuff done.

Thank you. I'm about to go outside and begin the process of spring cleaning the yard. What fun and joy that job is going to be? Yup,as you can tell I'm not looking forward to it at all.
