What part of the state are you in? There are plenty of members who may have chicks or pullets available.I am new to BYC. I am looking for advice on new chicks that will be hardy in the winter. The Golden Comets I have are good layers but 2 of the 6 I started out with died at a little over 2 years old. I want a breed that will live longer than that. Looking to get 6 new chicks asap. Any suggestions what to get and where to get them?
Depending on where you are, I have some I can part with. Or we have Chickenstock coming up in a couple weeks.I am new to BYC. I am looking for advice on new chicks that will be hardy in the winter.
