Trick-or-treating. Hmmm.... For those of you who haven't been to our home, our drive is long and dark = no kids. BUT, I have 3 kids of my own and sometime the DS brings his friends over after roaming the neighborhood and I "charge" them entry fee to come in and warm up.

I like chocolate and they get hot chocolate and to sit by the wood stove.

Rancher..so sorry for your loss. We have two cats..and I don't want them outside until the electric fence is back up and running...they so want out...

Greymane...your cats sound like the neighbors chickens and turkeys...the chickens just eat everything and the turkeys are mean...kids are scared to go in the yard...

Hello fellow Western New Yorker....I live in Bethany NY, between Rochester and Buffalo, and have 12 chickens (Buff Orps and Australorps) and 1 Australorp Rooster. This is only my second year of having chickens. Received Buffs as pullets from neighbor and raised Australorps from chicks.
